After years of teaching art to adults I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard someone say “I’m just getting the hang of this painting - I wish we had longer” or “This is so absorbing - it’s the one time in my busy life that I can switch off and do something I really enjoy.”
Knowing as I do the fascinating Suffolk coastal region, I kept thinking ‘I’d really like my students to share the experience of this unique coastline with its ancient market and seaside towns and amazing areas of natural beauty!’ So, I set up Art Breaks East Anglia to give you the opportunity to join me in Suffolk to experience the pleasure of discovering some truly special places through the artist’s eye, sketching and painting with my guidance.
I believe these breaks offer the combination of convivial company, expert tuition and the chance to develop your artistic ability, in locations which have inspired artists for centuries.
